In 2008, our company was awarded a grant from the New York State Renewable Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to develop an accurate yet affordable wind resource assessment tool for small wind turbines. We collectively saw a need in the market for precise wind assessments to help property owners make the most informed decisions about where to place their wind turbines to get the best results.

Best-in-class wind analysis tools

With our industry leading science team in place, we began developing a wind siting tool specifically for the small wind market. The result was Wind Analytics™, a patent-pending, web-based software tool, designed to quickly, accurately, and cost effectively assess a property’s wind resource for optimal small wind turbine siting.
